Pinto Gray

Romeoville Pinto earned another strong victory over Belmont in an exciting game. The Players of the Game were Leo Magana #10 and Julian Rosario #6.

Leo made a big impact behind the plate with his quick defensive instincts, fielding a short grounder and throwing the runner out at first. He carried that momentum into his at-bats as well, showing confidence at the plate and powering an inside-the-park home run.

Julian also delivered an outstanding performance. He stayed sharp on defense, hauling in two fly balls and turning both into double plays. At the plate, he kept the energy going by hitting two doubles and driving in five RBIs to help lead the team to victory.

What a way to open the season! Pinto team rolled to a 29–8 win over Minooka.

Player of the Game: Alec Tapia, #25

Alec Tapia set the tone early—being part of all three outs in the first inning, capped off by a diving catch to end the inning. He didn’t slow down at the plate either, going a perfect 3-for-3 with 2 RBIs and scoring twice.
